Anushka Sharma, the bubbly Bollywood babe was recently sighted leaving Mumbai. The waif-thin heroine was spotted at the Mumbai airport, passport and tickets in hand, with a few minders trailing behind her. Her trademark fringe in place, dressed in dark grey slacks, a white blouse and a black and white printed jacket, Anushka looked all set to jet off into the night. An oversized bag on one arm, and a thick novel cradled in the other cut a pretty travel-girl picture indeed.
Anushka has also been in the news for replacing senior actress Priyanka Chopra in a coffee maker’s ad campaign. Anushka will be seen with her ‘Matru ki Bijlee ka Mandola’ co-star Imran Khan, who replaces Shahid Kapoor as the brand ambassador for the java brand.
Anushka had earlier said, “A good cup of coffee is what keeps me going through the day, keeps me active and energised. I like it hot, I like it cold, I like it in every sense of the word. When Bru approached me for this campaign I was happy to come on board. Also, I got to work once again with Imran who is a fabulous co-star. It’s a perfect combination for me.”Imran also heaped praise upon his co-star and on-screen buddy, when he said, “Anushka is always extremely energetic and an absolute pleasure to work with.”
